STRANGULATION

A guy tried to strangle me during sex,
I removed his hand instantly –
no thanks, my eyes said
and he nodded.

 




Thomas Stewart has an MA in Writing from Warwick and a BA in English. His fiction, poetry and personal essays have been featured in Litro, The Cadaverine, The Stockholm Review, The Metric, Ink, Sweat and Tears, among others. His first poetry pamphlet, 'Creation' is forthcoming from Red Squirrel Press. He also wrote and co-directed the independent short film, 'The Quiet Life', currently in post-production. He enjoys folk music, horror films, suburban fiction, vintage watches, Italy and jumpers.
